Integration of light and energy storage is becoming a trend

After more than 20 years of development, the photovoltaic industry has achieved grid parity ahead of schedule. The industry's goal now is to achieve grid parity for 24-hour adjustable solar energy storage power stations between 2025 and 2030. Simply put, in the future, solar energy and energy storage can be combined to build grid friendly power stations that can be adjusted 24 hours a day, just like thermal power. If this goal is achieved, the goal of building a new power system dominated by new energy will be realized.

Industry insiders further pointed out that the integration of photovoltaics and energy storage is not simply piecing together photovoltaics and energy storage, but rather bridging the two platforms, deeply integrating technology, flexibly adjusting configuration according to the actual situation of the project, and achieving the optimal overall system efficiency and maximum economic benefits of the project. From the perspective of core technology of energy storage products, photovoltaic manufacturers entering the energy storage track mainly play the role of integrators, and it is difficult to establish a full industry chain advantage in a short period of time. At present, the energy storage market pattern has not yet formed, and under the trend of integrated development of photovoltaics and energy storage, it is bound to reshape the energy storage industry pattern again.
